Course Philosophy

Physical education helps students develop the knowledge, fitness levels, motor skills, and personal and social skills to obtain the ultimate goal of a lifetime of physical activity and health.

Physical education enables students to know God and to honor Him for the gift of our physical bodies. Physical education equips students to be stewards of these gifts by shaping minds, behaviors, emotions, and choices to glorify God. As I Corinthians 6: 19-20 states "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? Therefore honor God with your body."
